                   First time at Condé Nast

I decided to share with you my emotions about my first visit to
Condé Nast Russia. I was really excited ! Gera Skandal,my good friend and an amazing designer was doing a special project for Condé Nast.
The plot of the project is so great - models take part in a photoshoot inside the building, they are hanging Vogue magazines and act like business women. Gera's last collection is also used. We started the photoshoot from the studio of professional Condé Nast's photographers and finished near Vogue's office. The building is so huge! I've got lost few times. Moreover, you have to own a special key which helps you with entering each door.
I experienced so much feelings ! I was so happy to see VOGUE's and GQ's offices...
The funniest thing happened to me and Gera during the shoot. We were waiting for our model and photographer to finish the photoshoot near Vogue's transparent doors. We were discussing Vogue and staring at everything inside. Suddenly, a women with no fashion sense and intelligence walked behind us and asked what were we doing near Vogue's doors?! We were really surprised with her question because there were a photoshoot (2 steps from us!) and it was obvious that we were with the team. She looked at us like we were stalkers from ELLE (or any other famous magazine) who wanted to enter Vogue's Russia world and steal ideas from an upcoming issue archives. She was so mean to us. We just smiled and did not discuss her at all.
I've been thinking about that woman for few days! If you work for VOGUE magazine, you have NO rights to come to Vogue's office in clothes like she's been wearing. Even if it is Saturday. If you work for VOGUE, you have NO rights to look like a sh**t. Have you ever watched ,Devil wears Prada,? That's it!
Moreover, if you work for VOGUE you are a PART OF A HISTORY. You have to know the history of fashion and art perfectly. Millions of lives and decisions depend on YOU,on your mood and preferences. You cannot come up to VOGUE's office with a mood like you are about to cry,die or fall asleep. It does not matter if you have the simplest position - all details are super important! The way you dress, the way you feel - everything comes up in the next issue!
So before you enter Vogue's world, make sure you are ready to look perfect and have a perfect mood every day. Vogue's people have no feelings, they have their knowledge and professionalism.

I walked through Condé Nast and saw a lot of things ! Vogue's office is really different to GQ's!
I mentioned that there were a lot of magazines everywhere ! Hundreds of unread and unused fresh magazines are laying on each Condé Nast's floor.
As for me, I had a great time. I felt like I had to stay there forever.
Gera did a great job and I fell in love with few of his creatures during the photoshoot.
I am so happy to spend my time with this designer. I heard a lot about him, but we got friends only last month.
Cannot wait to check out the photoshoot pictures and visit Condé Nast again!
