Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Everything starts from friends' (who live in Europe and USA) texts. They start asking me what am I getting for Christmas. I try to stay calm every single year but this is really hard ! Orthodox Christians celebrate Christmas on 7th of January. Moreover, it is not as huge as Europeans' and Americans' celebrations.
We have family fun during New Year's Eve. The same traditions, but children start wrapping their presents on 31st December.
I texted most of my friends kind and sweet Christmas messages and tried to explain each of them, why do not I wrap my presents on 25th - I still do not have them.
25th is still a great date for me. I visit the Red Square every year to catch the spirit of the New Year. I decided to go on the Red Square with my bestfiend on 25th. We did not see each other for few months and we had so much fun at ,Beverly Hills Diner, ! We spent 3 hours there trying to make some funny selfies with cute or even dumb faces. I wore Givenchy sweatshirt and unknown brand beanie with veil. Also, I wore my new RayBan stylish glasses and a random skirt from my wardrobe.
To be honest, it's the warmest winter I've ever seen in Russia! Usually,it's really COLD here. When we were out,it was about +2C. It should be -27. But I am happy that it was not really cold today. I wanted to enjoy my walk! After the cafe we decided to go on the Red Square. Everything was so beautiful there, I was speechless! There were a lot of small fairs all over the main buildings so we could buy some cookies and coffee and national Russian food.
After the small trip we entered GUM - the most famous Moscow shopping mall with a lot of boutiques and cute fashion things. It is famous for its delicious ice-cream and lemonade. I've been to GUM more than 5 times last fall so we got bored there and moved our tiny bodies to TSUM - another famous shopping mall. Actually, they are not like malls, just the places for boutiques as Prada,Versace,Gucci etc.
We so so many beautiful decorations for Christmas trees there! I was so in love with each one! Later, I on the third floor ( the second one is all about menswear) I saw such beautiful mannequins! They were dressed as the coolest princesses from the XVIIIth century I've ever seen! As soon as I saw one beautiful creature, I thought of the young Elizabeth I (except the fact she was living in XVIth century).
When we left that mall, I saw the beauty of it outside - show-windows were adorable!
At the end od the day I got really inspired. It was the first year when our government made such a great party. I was smiling the whole way home!
If you are reading this article, I am really happy. I cannot express my feelings sometimes. This is not because I am a kind of emotional people, my English is not really perfect just and I am trying to do my best, to make my fashionistas feel the same way I feel.
Even if I do not celebrate Christmas, I will always send post cards and cute texts to my followers, friends and fashionistas!
I love my life and you have no idea how much fashion inspires me and I will never stop saying that fashion is more than clothes, it is our history and art, it is the way of expressing ourselves.
