Valentin Yudashkin is one of the most talented and creative Russian designers. I am really proud to know that he is from Moscow. His collections are in Vogue Paris and Vogue Russia. His collections are unbelievably beautiful. He is good at fashion, really good. I visited Valentin's exhibition almost a year ago. I was lucky to see his Couture dresses and I fell in love with him even more.
He's a really big inspiration for me.
His S/S 15 collection is romantic and lovely. I love fabrics. My favorite part of this collection is sunglasses. You can easily see your reflection in them. Silhouettes are soft and there are no sharp lines. There are only few prints. I love the floral print which looks literally like khaki. Some blouses are filled glittery elements like pastes. Also, I love final dresses - there are a lot of elements. They look like masterpieces.
The show was well made ( but my favourite one is fall 14/15). Music was really good and I fell in love with decorations. I want to mention that flowers are really famous SS 15 season. And I am not talking about prints - it's about the feeling of summer and the spirit of spring.
Make up & hair looked really natural and I did not like that. I love Valentin, but I think natural is boring. BUT it's his style,so I just need to deal with this.
Slave Zaitsev was a special guest on that day. We were really shocked. 2 kings of 2 kingdoms. One of them decided to visit possessions of another one.
50's inspired swimsuits which did not really look like swimsuits were amazing. I loved their fabrics. I loved that they were made for going out or evening, for everything, but not for swimming.
Fabrics were so different. From chiffon to really strong structures.
Accessories were beautiful - 2 coloured crosses, sunglasses, bracelets. I loved that accessories were opposites to clothes. Because clothes was romantic and soft, but accessories had sharp shapes and bright colours, but everything was in harmony.
Bridal dress was my favourite. It was gorgeous. The final catwalk was amazing. I loved all the cocktail dresses I saw.
Valentin Yudashkin is good at creating evening dresses, they always make me speechless. He's a genius and it's such a pleasure for me to visit his fashion shows. Someday I will meet him and I will get to know him. It's one of the biggest dreams for me.
