Roger Vivier Cocktail

Every time I get any invitation I feel really special. Do they really want to see me? Are they interested in my life views? Do they love my fashion? How did they find me?
Few days ago I received an email from TSUM. To be honest, TSUM is my favorite shopping mall. It's the most luxurious and beautiful Russian shopping center. There is only one minus. I am too poor for Yves Saint Laurent. I one pair of shoes is the whole salary for a month of work. I am not crazy. But I don't feel sad about it. Sometimes I think it's pretty interesting just to check out what's in stores without even buying it. I come to TSUM like every two months to check out which runway collections are selling in Moscow. Sometimes, it's really important to check out fabrics, because it's pretty hard to see the quality from a photo.
TSUM kindly invited me to visit a cocktail party. I had no idea I would meet Bruno Frisoni and his muse. I was so inspired on that night.

I did not know really much about Bruno before, but right after the event I read his biography and I fell in love with him. To be honest, I was lucky not to be good at his biography on the cocktail night, because if I knew a lot about him as I knew about Marc Jacobs or John Galliano, I would probably cry.
I am such a fangirl when it comes to designers. They all are so talented, they make me really happy, they inspire me to live and follow my dreams.
Bruno is a really handsome and kind man. We had a small conversation and I was so happy we talked to each other.

"When I started I wanted to design clothes but I soon developed a passion for accessories and especially for shoes. You just carry a bag with you whereas a shoe is part of you".

He was born in 1960 in France. He started his carreer with Jean-Louis Scherrer in 1980, Maryll Lanvin and then Christian Lacroix. In 1995 Frisoni decided to work on his own and started a free lance activity collaborating with the chic houses of Trussardi, Givenchy and Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche with Albert Elbaz. His true love was accessories, so he started creating shoes and bags for women. Isn't he inspirational? He entered Roger Vivier, as a creative director in 2002. He saved traditional brand's style and added his own innovations. So proud of him.

I entered Roger Vivier corner and saw the new Haute Couture collection. Roger Vivier team told me there were standing Couture collection shoes. I fell in love with them, they were filled with sparkly little diamonds and they were so chic!

I arrived at 8 p.m and I was really excited. I did not know Bruno would come with Inès Marie Lætitia Églantine Isabelle de Seignard de La Fressange. When she was my age, she became a cover girl of Elle. She entered Roger Vivier in 2002, at the same time as Bruno.
When they arrived I was so speechless. She looked so pretty and I told her that! I was really shy to talk to her because she was such a queen, but we had a small conversation.
I listened to her interview for one of fashion channels and her answer on one of the questions was so good.
Intervier asked her what was a MUST HAVE for her opinion? She said that was really easy.  "When a woman comes to a shop and sees something. She really wants it and she does not even want to try it on, she buys it as fast as she can, that's what MUST HAVE is."

She was so right. So many brands try to sell, for example - bags just calling them MUST HAVEs. But real fashionstas see MUST HAVEs without any help. They feel it.

I got such a cute present from Roger Vivier team. There was a big book inside a pocket which included the history of the brand and main historical events which had a place in the story.

When I finally talked to Bruno Frisoni, I fell for him. He was so nice, intelligent and smart. I told you I was so shy, so at first we just took a picture. Later, when I got my present, I asked Bruno to sign me a book.

He asked my name. I was DYING INSIDE! I finally asked him the main question.
"What is you inspiration? What inspired you?"
"It could be anything. It could be today or yesterday, no one knows."

I fell in LOVE with Roger Vivier COUTURE collection. If you could only touch that bag, you would understand my feelings.

There were a lot of Russian celebrities. But I did not really pay attention to them because I was busy with staring at beautiful shoes. I took a lot of pictures and my camera Instagram was spammed with photos.

Later I visited Roger Vivier website! They have such a beautiful website, just visit it here. The music and sketches are really inspirational.
Special thanks to TSUM for making my dreams come true and giving me an opportunity to be a part of the historical event.
