Let's go back to XVIII with me?
I clearly remember the first time I've been to Kuskovo. It was in 7th grade. I was not really into art or fashion, I just loved beautiful things. As soon as I arrived, I was impressed by that place's beauty. I walked trough their gardens looked at accurately cut foliage on trees and mentioned every element.I visit Kuskovo every year and it still gives me butterflies. I started loving XVIII century literally a year ago. I had no time to study Art,but when I did it - I fell in love with XVIII because I saw the real beauty of clothes, architecture and music.
This year I came back and got a lot of inspiration from just one walk...
I took my bestfriend Kristy and we got inside the park zone. It was a pure beauty. The day was cloudy and sun did not bother us, but later it started raining. We didn't care because everything was perfect.
Kuskovo has a huge territory. Kuskovo consists of architecturally-park ensemble, a little Palace, Dutch lodge, Italian lodge, Grotto, Hermitage and greenhouses.
I visited each place and everything looked really perfect. We started from the Palace, which was called ,,Big House,, by visitors. Palace is the biggest building in Kuskovo. It has more than 7 big rooms and an amazing ball hall.
I was standing in the ball room for literally an hour. Such a beautiful place. People who lived in that Palace were so lucky, they could wear gorgeous dresses and dance until the sunrise. Ball room impressed me a lot and I loved the music ( there was a CD player inside the room so we could listen to Bach and Vivaldi).
I want a room like this.. why am I not living in such a perfect century?
Gold and pink colours make me happy !
After visiting the Palace we had a walk in the garden. The garden was inspired by Versailles. There were a lot of sculptures and perfect shape trees. Grass was so green I could not stop staring at it. There was a horse riding for visitors (lovely!).
Hermitage showed us a collection of porcelain cups and spoons, trays and forks. We could not take any pictures in Hermitage, how sad.
I spent more than 5 hours there, I wish I could spend every day in Kuskovo.
I can't imagine this..people say Versailles is even bigger.
I would be lost inside. And i'd be the happiest.
I wish I could see that view every morning holding a porcelain cup of green tea..
There were not really many people inside the garden or the whole territory. Usually, I walk there alone, but on that day we saw about 10 people inside. This place is too far from the centre of Moscow, so not everyone knows a lot about this place. Moreover, people are not really into ART nowadays. They live with their ,Instagram, and ,Facebook, and do not care about the beauty of their past. Maybe some people are right, they say there is no future and no past, just now, today. But it is really important to know your history and know what had happened before you were born. What did they wear? Why music was so beautiful and people were so different? Their souls had other dreams and thoughts.
I wore an amazing outfit. I wanted to have a kind of a girly look, but I changed my mind later. I wore an amazing black ,SICK & TIRED, jacket by an unknown brand Korean brand and ,UNDERGROUND, grunge (or even punk) creepers and a Forever 21 suit with floral print.
I don't know what do YOU think about him, but I find him really perfect. Look at his outfit and eyes. Great.
We took so many pictures, my iPhone literally died.
This summer Kuskovo is working on an amazing project - every month you can visit it and listen classic music live in the Ball room. Take your chance (if you are in Moscow this summer) and buy two tickets for you and the love of your life and visit Kuskovo.
I think it is really important to visit such a place as this one. You can get lost in its labyrinth or eat a cheesecake in cafe near the park zone.
Can't wait to go back...and get lost in my own dreams and hopes.
This is the only place in Moscow where I feel freedom and happiness.
