Fur is in fashion.Spring/Summer 2013 season.
I always think about cold Russian winters when I hear ,fur,. I was really excited for SS 13 fashion shows and you cannot imagine my reaction when I saw fur coats and elements in Fendi,Prada and other RTW fashion shows.
For me fur is classical winter clothes element.I know that fur can be used as a great accessory for any outfit but I never associate it with summer. Miu Miu,Prada,Fendi,MaxMara showed up fur coats,dresses and elements during SS 13 fashion shows.Is possible to wear fur this summer? Actually,it is. Miuccia Prada created a special structure of fur which does not make you feel warm during summer day or evening.Moreover, each fur outfit of SS 13 collection is bright. No matter what style do you have or what do you think about fashion,you must have some bright clothes for summer time.
I never disagree with such a great fashion houses as PRADA or Fendi but I will never understand fur for summer as florals for spring or transparent dresses for autumn.
I think designers decided to bring us back to 60's in some way. It is something old,but new in this season. If I did not know I watch Spring/Summer collection, I would think it is Fall collections on Miu Miu's or MaxMara's runway.
But I loved Miuccia's fur + florals situation. It makes me feel a little bit better about summer because during the fashion show I imagine how cold this season should be,that designers decided to come up with idea of fur.
On my opininon, fur is not a great decision for summer season. Should not summer be about less clothes and more body? We live in 21st century and fashion center is not in Turkey so it is okay to show your underwear or swim suit during hot summer day. I love fur, I know that a lot of animals die every day because of new Gucci coat,but it is legal. Another thing when animals die because of new illegal fur coat which someone will buy near your house.
In concluson, I want to mention that fur is really in fashion this summer season. No matter how much money you have, you should have a fur element in your outfit. BUT it must be bright because if it is white or black fur you will look hilarious ( if it is not PRADA !).
I have a light brown fur small bag which I'll take somewhere in a summer evening. I am not a fan of this trend,but it is something what no one expect so why can't I try this? I love coming back to 60's all the time and this trend gives me a small oportunity to feel like a girl from 60's who lives in London,in love with ,The Beatles,,lives in a small town near London and dreams to move someday to a fashion center of England and take a small and only one fur bag with her.
